    Preliminary Race Results Are Now Posted

    On multiple dates during the summer of 2014, NYC Swim will offer its longest and premier swim of the season, the annual 28.5-mile Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, a full counter-clockwise circumnavigation of the island of Manhattan.

    Accepted swimmers will be assigned to a date based on their pace. Swim dates will be June 14, June 28, and July 12. Applicants should set aside these dates.

    Fees:All-inclusive fees for the 2014 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim are as follows:
    Solo Swimmer $2,550
    2-person Relay $2,950
    3-person Team Pursuit $3,350

    Awards:The top overall male and female swimmers will be competing once again for a place on the Gallagher Cup, a beautifully crafted trophy from Tiffany's (the Gallagher Cup remains in New York with NYC Swim).

    Awards (take-home) will be distributed as follows:
         Top 3 Male Solo Swimmers
         Top 3 Female Solo Swimmers
         Top Overall 2 Person Relay

    Each successful swimmer & relay team will receive completion awards. 
    Predicted Water Conditions:Approximately 63.0 °F to 69.0 °F (17.4 °C to 20.2 °C).
    There can be a substantial amount of chop in the water from wind, tide action, and boat traffic. The waterways are salt water and there is shipping traffic. There may be random jetsam and flotsam in the waterways.
